Such a critical case to ensure scope 3 emissions are considered in these decisions. Thanks for all your efforts - and so glad the science has reached a point where we can demonstrate the specific impacts of fossil fuel projects to local areas

All the best to you with this.
This is fantastic news and good luck!!!!! #auspol

The administration of justice is an open process and members of the public are permitted to attend.
Come along if you are interested in understanding more about how climate law works in practice.
The usual rules apply when observing courts: remain quiet, turn off phones, no photos or recordings.
Four prominent climate institutions have applied to be heard as amici curiae (“friends of the court”)

We have a date!

"Multiple recent studies have cited cracks present in its concrete cap.
Another said the structure was never designed to withstand the impacts of climate change, while a United Nations report pointed out it was not watertight"
You should see what Newcrest Cadia Mine at Orange has done. Let alone the permanent claim over town water supplies.

Bowdens has never built a mine before, has a history of environmental breaches for its exploration activities, and yet the NSW Government is backing its plans to build an open cut lead mine in the middle of the beautiful Mudgee region.
Transparency has never been more important.
The community is concerned that after they won in the Court of Appeal, overturning the mine’s approval, the government changed the law - not once, but twice - to overcome their court win.
So proud of our brave clients Wendy and Tony who are taking on the first ever climate case in the High Court of Australia!

“Forestry Corp is in breach of its own regulations so frequently that the practice is effectively part of its business model.
“Native forestry operations run at a permanent loss so in reality, taxpayers are paying the fines when they are prosecuted.”

For those wondering how on earth Woodside ended up building a gas plant in the middle of the world’s most extraordinary collection of ancient petroglyphs, this piece explains a lot 👇👇👇

We are off to court on 12-13 March 2026, acting for Mudgee Regional Health Alliance against the NSW minister for Resources and the Premier of NSW, over documents on the controversial Bowdens open cut lead mine proposed for Mudgee.
