Nobody knows how to live in the moment anymore. Imagine witnessing something iconic through your phone screen when you're literally right there to experience it. Madness! ๐ค

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to look at my MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ranking. This message will self-destruct in five seconds...
I sadly lost count of the tally but I was once again reminded that she has requested the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE theme to be played at her funeral.
I still haven't recovered from witnessing a man in the row in front of me, at a fairly full cinema back in 2022, take out a travel manicure kit which he used to cut and file his toenails (he was wearing flip flops) and fingernails before the film started.
I let my mum choose our Easter film marathon this year, so naturally, we are spending the weekend with Tom Cruise in the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE franchise. I'm going to keep a tally of how many times she says, "there he goes" whenever he starts running.

I really miss snapper cases!
I imagine THE LAST BOY SCOUT looks great in HD and even deserves a 4K remaster, but there are certain films in my physical media collection that I flat out refuse to upgrade for sentimental reasons, so my tattered DVD from 1999 is all I need. โค๏ธ
A few of you could really benefit in mastering the art of shutting the fuck up. Realising that not every single thing requires your energy or opinion is very freeing. Just some advice.
98 years and they still havenโt figured out that cutting people off is bad
Embarrassing that it has taken this long for a woman to win an Oscar for cinematography but Iโm very happy to be here to witness it for Autumn Durald Arkapaw, especially with that speech which was the best of the night so far.
This opening montage is giving MTV Movie Awards (complimentary)
The idiot TikToker they've got doing the Oscars coverage on ITV just called SINNERS and FRANKENSTEIN "horror adjacent" so naturally I shouted at my TV. Get the fuck outta here, dipshit.
I had a Twitter/X crush for years but they deactivated and became my Bluesky crush, but they're not even on here anymore so now they're just my Letterboxd crush, and I fear it's wrong to flirt on there so all I can do is yearn.

In honour of it being Mother's Day in the UK, here are the four characters that describe my mum. ๐
Still of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (S02 E11: Ted) and the subtitles have been edited to say, "I feel like killing myself" instead of the original dialogue.
Me, since SMG broke the news that one of my reasons to live was taken away by Hulu.
Photo of my beloved JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS (2001) DVD
I used to rent the VHS from my local corner shop every weekend for, like, a year. One day, I was devastated to find out somebody else had rented it for the weekend. When I went back the following week, the shop owner gifted me with my very own copy on DVD so I could watch it whenever I wanted.
What movie did you watch over and over as a kid?

I never realise I'm depressed until I look at my Letterboxd and see I've hardly watched any movies lately

It's always a pleasure to revisit my all-time favourite franchise. I hope you enjoy it!
