Good to know. An interesting feature of lockdown mode is it blocks 2G and 3G cell connections bc they have weak encryption. LD mode is restrictive, but good to know if needed.

I may try it to see if it reduces the noise.

Detection devices are cheap and fairly easy to build with minor soldering skills. Check out the work of @colonelpanichacks.bsky.social. They’ve got a shop and a GitHub with the firmware.

Not-quite-a-noob here. I run a server at home, using Nginx to proxy my services (N8N, forgejo, MQTT) over SSL. There’s a lot of settings needed to keep it secure. I use an AI (Lumo) to help me manage it. Otherwise I wouldn’t have the skill-set to configure and manage the system.
