I largely got what I wanted. It's possible the yellow just doesn't work with the maroon on the shoulders, but it's also possible that I just didn't care for the models as much as I thought I would once I got them in my hand.
I went with a white undercoat since I figured that would be better for the cadmium yellow acrylic ink I used for the base coat.
For a minute I was thinking of starting a Leagues of Votann army and wanted to do them in a yellow color scheme. I tried out these minis, but I'm not sure if I just wasn't feeling the League once I got my hands on them or if the color scheme wasn't coming together like I wanted.
