House lawmakers are considering an anti-immigrant bill (H. R. 1958) that would put people with lawful immigration statuses at risk of deportation - potentially resulting in separation from their loved ones—due to a mistake and/or confusion related to public benefit processes.
Inflation under Trump has cost the average family over **$1,600** in price hikes on essentials like housing and transportation – and yet he has called Americans’ affordability concerns a “hoax.”
Trump called affordability "a con job." What do you call cutting SNAP assistance while grocery prices soar? Stripping health coverage while premiums spike? Slashing housing support while rents climb? All to fund tax breaks for billionaires?

The widening gap between the richest and the rest of us is not an accident. The trillions of dollars in tax cuts enacted this past summer overwhelmingly benefit the rich.
