Large photo of Mt. St. Helens (in Washington) BEFORE May 18th, 1980. I took the photo with my phone yesterday while visiting a children's museum in Longview, WA, USA. The museum has an entire exhibit on the eruption... (I remember that day, still!)

Mixed media nonsense, felt pen and colored pencil plus digital scribbling on reclaimed cardboard with digital color tweaking... My grandson (he's ALMOST two-years-old) and I have been making a SLUG-TON of art lately, and his new thing is digital drawing, but because I'm a weirdo, I give him photos of images we've drawn on paper and cardboard that I took with my phone to digitally "embellish." He's good at scrawling!!! (PLUS, he can't draw on the walls with the sketch app on my phone. His mom is getting pretty angry with the permanent markers that we HAD been using...)
This is what the grandkids and I have been doing over the last week (plus, some BONUS MEMES stolen from the wonderful WORLD WIDE WEB!)
