LOVE this, David. Fantastic work.
I'm getting really good at it.
The cover to Action Comics #1098 by Ryan Sook, featuring Superboy, Martian Manhunter, Mary Marvel, and Booster Gold.
Lately one of my hobbies is getting to see the great Ryan Sook draw one of my character designs that I can't believe is still around
I mean just look at this guy. I guess Godzilla was lifting cruise ships after he died or something. SPOILER. I hope he finds peace.
Not that anybody asked but I screamed.
All healing to the great Adam Hughes. We aren't done stealing from you yet!

For no reason at all, a gentle reminder that I have a shop where I sell my original art - docshaner.bigcartel.com
Drawings by Doc Shaner, L to R: Green Arrow, Superman, Mary Marvel, Black Canary, and Wildcat. In different colors and varying degrees of looking tough I guess.
I keep adjusting this thing for my bluesky banner every time I remember I have it, different square of color here or there, swap in or out a drawing, and why? To what end? Madness.
It’s my birthday, so I launched a Patreon and released a comic I’ve been overthinking for years.
Radio Daze follows a Calgarian teen who inherits her grandfather’s ham radio gear and starts a secret basement pirate broadcast.
Each strip pairs with a song = mixtape. Link in the thread.
A drawing of Gamera by Doc Shaner depicting the giant flying fire-breathing turtle standing tall over a city and probably reminding everyone how awesome he is.

GAMERA, friend to all children. As much as I've gotten into Godzilla in the last few years, Gamera's always been one of my favorites, right up there with Kong.

Yeah man, it's pretty nuts
I've been thinking real hard about Usopp.
I ended up leaning more toward the cartoonier side of these two, just more fun. bsky.app/profile/docs...

BLACK CANARY. Her I like best.
Lovely!
Awwww yeah, man. I love to hear it, thanks Evan! Hope you're doing well!
This had to be the cover I got, because (1) Evans gotta stick together, (2) I have always loved Doc’s art, (3) I had both of these toys as a kid
Glad to hear it! Thanks so much for letting me know.
Saw a ton of Straw Hats flags today, which I did not realize was a thing folks were doing.
How do you like that turntable? I've been snooping around for one and that's come up a few times.
I hadn't considered that folks might be interested but you're the second person to ask, so I'll have to see about it!
a couple of quotes i wish i saw when i was 15 or 16--
okay so AI is absolutely cratering imminently and I need all of you to PROMISE me you won't take the high road, and will laugh and rub it in their faces as much as possible. I need you to laugh and go 'WE TOLD YOU SO, BITCH" at every opportunity, PLEASE be extremely mean and ruthless
That's fantastic! I love that logo.
Thanks buddy!
Noted, thanks man!
Speaking of Spider-Man, these came in the mail today.
