for me, wireless headphones end up being more durable than their wired counterparts because the wires end up failing. nowadays the battery life is long enough to not be annoying.
unpopular opinion: i think it's fine they removed headphone jacks from phones, wireless earbuds/headphones are a straight upgrade to me.
