An Active Registration Return is the most recent version that the public sees in the Registry. It has been activated by Registry staff. Lobbyists can view, update, or end their Registration Returns. They can also create Lobbying Activity Reports for their registrations.

"Direct interest" in the outcome of a lobbying activity requires that a person or entity would be impacted by the outcome of the lobbying activity, likely by benefiting directly, or being directly and adversely affected.
