Today was a great day.
Much quality time with my partner, then my new code submission for #Blender was accepted, which fixes a slew of AOV bugs in Cycles. Then I've worked through a hairy data edge case and more for @horseplaytoys.bsky.social 🙃

The compositor is quite a lot of work for me, also because I've ended up submitting an AOV bugfix for Cycles myself and helping more get fixed. That was difficult. What a journey so far! #b3d #Blender

This roo built some parts of Mason and some of Mason's fursuits (and he makes fantastic pizza)

I found my footing in the Haskell and Blender open source communities. This is where my personal development journey of decades led me to, with actual code contributions. It has been incredibly difficult and so rewarding. These systems now have a tiny bit of me in them.

New capability: creating a complex geometry node tree from a script turned out to be quite feasible thanks to a lot of Python magic. :D #blender #b3d
