Today they have crossed a deep red line.
We, the people, must hold the president and his appointees accountable for this outrageous abuse against American liberty.

Honestly, I think one of the biggest thing skylight social needs is a “not interested” button to help customize our content better.
Throwback to our visit to the Nagasaki Lantern Festival. Always a fun experience.

I mean, it’s really easy to beat ten books in a month if you take advantage of Novellas 👀
Well you can always message me during the wee hours of the night (because it’s daytime for me).
Your community was suggesting soup for a reason. Let me tell you, a soup made with a really good collagen-rich bone broth is great when you’re not feeling good.
These were the top 8 book I read this month. I’ve already finished 13 books so far this year, so I am well on my way to meeting my reading goal for the year.
If you haven’t read any of these yet, I’d definitely recommend any of them.
The end of Onyx Storm was a fucking whip lash. 🤯
Shego from Kim Possible 👀
I painted this during a hangout with friends (everyone in attendance followed Covid protocols prior) that happened to coincide with the election in 2020.
Seems a good time to remind myself that we survived Cheetoh 1.0 and we will survive Cheetos 2.0 if we make sure to support those being targeted.
I’m sorry, friend. Let me know when you’re free to talk next.
I even keep my font fairly small compared to lots of kindle readers. Basically, it’s currently the same length as the average book I read and the fan fiction isn’t even done yet. 😁
I made homemade butter for the first time today because otherwise an entire quart of heavy cream was going to go bad in a day or two. I learned this skill on Tiktok.
Where am I going to learn random things at from now on?
Folks trying to act cool and aloof about the TikTok ban sound genuinely idiotic. If you don’t get why it’s a devastating and dangerous precedent, that says way more about you than the people lamenting its loss. I learned so much on that app. I saw the funniest shit of my life there. Shit sucks.
Update - never got the pop up, but the app still went dark for me.
Your community loves you and will keep trying to support you wherever you go (especially on Shop Quinky)
I’ve been living in Japan for almost three years now, but my account is a US account. I haven’t received a pop up message like this (yet). Wish I had a better answer for you.
If you don’t know me….
Help me find my people!
I know y’all are over here!
2 - practice Japanese more. Since we’re staying in Japan an additional three years, I told the family that we are to learn at least one new, useful thing at least weekly and we’re going to speak what we can in Japanese at home so we are more comfortable speaking when we’re out and about

This is the first time in years I’ve actually given myself new years resolutions.
1 - continue reading. I fell out of reading at least a decade ago when my oldest was born and I only just rediscovered my love of reading.

Happy new year from the future (Japan)! 🎆🎇
I rang in the New Year watching fireworks from basically my backdoor and spiking a Peach/Apple/Lemon flavored Chu-Hai with whipped vodka. 🍑🍎🍋
10/10 would recommend. 👍
I’m going to have to speed read this fic once I finish up Iron Flane. I keep seeing all your posts here about it and I just haven’t gotten to it yet. 🫣
Sandal should have absolutely been in Veilguard.
I can see that. I think the most I could reasonably read simultaneously is three books at once otherwise I’d start to mix up details
How is reading two books at one time possible? For me - I have an audiobook for when I’m cleaning, tasking, or cooking with headphones on. Then I have the ebook for when I’m able to sit and just read.
Been neglecting myself a bit lately, but took the time today to do a gel nail set on myself. I’m no expert, but I feel like they turned out great.
Today was a great day for reading and trying to catch up on my reading goal for the year. Finished the last book of a duology I’ve been reading, then knocked out two shorter novella’s to help me catch up.
Forgot to mention I finished the Lights Out audiobook last night. 10/10 it was a good time.
Today is baking day in preparation for the holiday. I made a pumpkin cheesecake and apple pie cupcakes. These are in addition to a pumpkin pie we got from Costco.
Here me out - gift idea for the holidays: a nice set of headphones that they can use when doom scrolling in bed. 😂
