The Jewish world should honor, praise Ahmed al-Ahmed | The Jerusalem Post Ahmed al-Ahmed belongs in that moral family tree of the "Righteous Among the Nations."

"A candle does not negotiate with darkness. It pushes back, stubbornly, flame-first." The Jerusalem Post declares Ahmed al-Ahmed "Righteous Among the Nations." A very prestigious title. www.jpost.com/opinion/arti...

I'm in Melbourne, Australia.
A Queensland politician has stated she wouldn't immigrate to here.
She misses the point.
We. Wouldn't. Have. Her.

Someone put this "blue plaque" on a London Tesla showroom to mark his becoming the world's first trillionaire. “World’s first trillionaire Elon Musk. Could have solved world hunger but funded fascists instead. Bellend.”

Adelita Grijalva won her election fair and square.

Now House Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to swear her in because she would be the final signature to release the Epstein files.

Mr. Speaker, respect democracy. Obey the law. Swear Representative Grijalva in immediately.

We are in the foothills of a solar-wind-battery civilisation. This is our best chance of avoiding catastrophe. But it threatens the profits of fossil fuel companies & nations - so these are pouring money into right-wing populism to stop the transition. This seems to me the biggest story in politics.

Single frame. Title: Pop science. Man and woman sitting outdoors at cafe. Man (looking at phone): “Apparently, Mozart’s mum took Panadol while pregnant with him…” Woman: “interesting. Ann’s I hear that a constant diet of hamburgers and sycophancy causes autocracy.”

It's incredible how many of our global issues have been caused by three white men in their 70s clinging to power to avoid prison. 🤷🏽‍♀️

So, Australia.
This Sunday, some are holding an "anti-immigration march."

Preserve our white heritage, they say.

Preserve our white PRIVILEGE, I believe they mean.

Which is WRONG.

DON'T GO, AUSTRALIA.
JUST, DON'T GO.

RFK Jr cancels $500m in mRNA vaccine development in the US Since taking office, the vaccine sceptic has made a number of changes to how vaccines are regulated.

Let’s bring this research to Melbourne.

We have manufacturing capacity and current research facilities for this tech, why not earn a share?

Imagine in the pouring rain, in a crowd this size, before the march began I ran into a colleague I taught with some years ago! We marched together, and enjoyed a meal afterwards. 🇵🇸 😊

Remember the voting differences here.
1. Voting is compulsory.
2. It's not 1st past the post, it's preferential.

I'm in Melbourne. State of Victoria. And, we see in real time the bad presidential decisions. And the sad way oligarchy is overcoming democracy in your nation.

Two parties in coalition.
One country district-based, the other city.

8 months ago 1 0 2 0

Yes. Best of all, the right of the party(s) - they are a coalition - believe they need to move further to the right to get elected.
That'll go down with Australian electors like a bucket of cold sick.

Also, Rupert renounced his Australian citizenship. He's now an American. Condolences.
And, no backsies!
