Puts British political scandal into perspective

CRANE then TOILS usually.
Dunno way. I probably read that it gives good coverage.
Extremely normal and fine for a company to put this in a public statement
I made a lot of rich people even richer in the mid to late 2000s and I never quite realised just how little I was getting by comparison. I'm mid to late 40s now and I can't wait for the "all of these people are dying at their desks for some reason, wonder what it is" debate in 20 or so years
backslash undoubtedly the worst character of all time. absolute diva of a symbol aaalways needs some kind of special treatment. super toxic vibes
I would very much like that. :)
Any Mark - hope you get some good luck with the search soon.
A ginger cat with black patches on her nose.
LOST CAT - EAST BELFAST - My cat, Lucy, has been lost since lunch time on the 30th March from near the crossroads where Ladas Drive meets the Castlereagh Road. She is a 12 year old ginger European Shorthair with black patches on her nose. Please keep an eye out. www.pawboost.com/landing/pet/...
it feels quite bad that it's basically impossible to argue that much of the modern right in the west has become both entirely intellectually shallow and deeply, fundamentally morally corrupt without sounding like a tedious teenage tankie, because it is.....the factual truth
oh god oh fuck I took the metro to the Tisza rally and all these kids POURED OUT of the train at the stop and started running up the escalators chanting, and briefly held hands with the older people leaving the rally and going down on the escalator, and I think I may actually just cry
For those interested in seeing what old British kids TV was like, heres an awesome one to check out.
You do, but it's a whole existential cultural association over here. One must honour and worship it. Everything is a spud option, if done right. :D
Spuds.
The Artemis rocket launches with a chyron below that says: Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood leaves BBC after 28 years.

think this is also relevant in the UK atm:
is it good that this made me laugh out loud
An apparently outclassed Eowyn in mortal combat with Angmar, leader of the Nazgûl. The style is of a bold woodcut.
In a forest, the Hobbits Merry and Pippin sit on the “arms” of the Elk Treebeard while discussing matters with him.
The destruction of Mount Doom. Lightning bolts fire out from a mountain’s summit while a blast carries away its mid-section.
“The Grey Havens” - Three figures on a hill watch a lone ship sail out to sea. The trip ahead is shown to be sunny, leaving behind the rainy skies over the land being left behind.
Some of the small spot illustrations by Eric Fraser that accompanied the Radio Times magazine’s weekly listings for the BBC’s 1981 radio adaptation of Tolkein’s “The Lord Of The Rings”.
"Sex slave' woman wanted for burglary A WOMAN who had five pitbull puppies cloned in South Korea is wanted in Tennessee on burglary charges, lawyers there said today. Joyce MeKinney, 58, was accused of telling a 15-year-old boy to burgle a house to raise cash to buy a false leg for a horse. She fled Britain in 1977 to avoid a trial for allegedly abducting a Mermon missionary and making him her sex slave.
Every sentence brings something new to the madness. Stick it on CEEFAX.
Impossible to bury the lede here. It’s all lede. All the way down. To the centre of the earth.
4-panel SMBC comic update. A teacher is speaking to a class. She tells the kids that today they will be learning about Phi, the golden ratio. She points out that "when you look at flowers, at nautilus shells, at the arms of spiral galaxies... None of those produce the golden ratio because its infinite decimal expansion defies the sort of precision found in nature!" The teacher continues in the following panel with "Nothing is golden in this fallen world, kids!" In the final panel, a student raises their arm to ask if the teacher is still letting the divorce intrude on her work-life, to which the teacher replies "did you know if you count the points on a pinecone they are still less numerous than your sorrows?"
There should be demotivational YouTube math videos. Just to be different.

Simple cartoon figures on a plain pink background; Bilbo Baggins surrounded by various dwarves, who look at him with expressions of affection and concern. Smaller than the others, with no beard and wearing a cloak that’s far too big for him, Bilbo gives a cheery wave.

OMG.
This might be the most British politics thread of all times.
