It’s mixed, it’s mastered, and the cover art is done. Slated for an early June release. We’re pretty excited.

Chicago: if you’re already dreaming of the weekend, dream a little dream of brunch.
Post-rehearsal debriefing session.
Two nights of rehearsal last weekend prepping to record our debut album, which will include a beautiful original tune by Laird Patten that features his clawhammer banjo playing. Excited by the way it’s all coming together.
Upcoming places to hear us:
• Elizabeth will be the lead vocal instructor at Midwest Banjo Camp, June 5–8, North Manchester, Indiana.
• White Oak Festival, Dodgeville, WI, Aug. 8–10.
• East Troy Bluegrass Festival, East Troy, WI. Sun. 9/14, 2 pm.
The 145s are hard at work planning our first album, to be recorded this spring for release later in the year. Stand by for lots of photos of studio microphones captioned “OFFICE FOR TODAY.”

Chicago bluegrass friends, come have brunch with us on Sunday at Beat Kitchen. Or more accurately, we’ll stand by the bar and watch you eat. We’ll play some songs while we’re there. It will be fun.
We cannot overstate how pleased we are to be playing music again at the Celtic Knot Public House in Evanston. They’re the best. Come enjoy the finest hospitality, food and drink, and music with us!
