Good Malenia Morning
today’s wordle was a “EUREKA” moment on the final guess
colored sketch of the towering Tengu, hand at the ready on his katana, stands before a rough shinobi in his old tattered rob from childhood, and commands, "Tell me your name!" The shinobi is silent. The tengu continues: "No name to give? You shinobi are all the same. You die nameless, with no one to mourn you. However...Your left arm. A prosthetic shinobi arm, it reminds me of... That's it... a one-armed Wolf. I like it! Which means...Sekiro. This is what I shall name you.
it's been 7 years since Sekiro's release and while I only played the game for the first time a not so long ago, using this anniversary as an excuse to finish a piece of my favorite moment in the game ߹𖥦߹
Two books. On the left is Root Rot by Saskia Nislow, which features a dark background and red images of a human nervous system and surrounded by various fictitious types of fungi. I’m really excited to catch up. The violence and overall grimness may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Volume 9 was the most painful but also my favourite.
To clarify- not super scary to ME.
A book cover featuring a purple and pink background and a drawing of a roadrunner with a rattlesnake in its mouth. The title is Snake-Eater, by T. Kingfisher.

I absolutely ADORED this novella. Such an interesting reworking of a classic fairytale. This earned 5 stars from me and a spot on my favourites shelf on storygraph
The title page of Carmilla.

Started off strong with Carmilla - Sheridan le Fanu.
Eerie and captivating, I do wish it was longer, especially the ending which felt a bit abrupt.

Sinners deserves Best Cinematographer simply for the fact that it's a modern movie where you can tell what's going on during all the night scenes
