Usually most things already have a pattern that can be turned into a baby version of itself. Always happy to chat if you have ideas 😊

I started with another but the dimensions were quite off on the final product. Switched to that one and had a far better final product.

There's a few tweaks that come from baby sleepers to make the "feeling" right. Like cutting the zip down in a straight line to go down to the knee, rather than following the existing seams.

I suggest Julie's 3244 pattern.

This was really fun to make once we got the final templating down 😊
