I realize this is confusing, but the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran isn’t a domestic political story.

If I was a member of the cabinet or Congress. I would be asking myself what I would say to my grandchildren when they asked, “what did you do when the president of the United States threatened to destroy a whole civilization?”

Are you going to impeach the president today? No?

Then you do, in fact, support making a whole civilization die.

The biggest story in the world right now is that the president of the United States is a demented old man who takes pleasure in torturing and killing people and is committing crimes with impunity. And yet most legacy media outlets are too cowardly to tell it like it is.

Constitutional lawyer here. I don't think it would violate the Constitution for the VP/Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, but the intended constitutional remedy for this behavior is impeachment & removal. The fact that that remedy is politically impossible is a scandal and a crisis.

If I were in Trump's Cabinet, I would spend Easter calling constitutional lawyers about the 25th Amendment.

This is completely, utterly unhinged. He's already killed thousands. He's going to kill thousands more.

Even more amazing when you realize the military we completely destroyed managed to take down one of the world's most advanced fighter jets.

it's a shame there's no cameras in the Supreme Court because there's a 100 percent chance Trump is sleeping right now

I know I’m a broken record on this but:

A handful of law profs are engaging in an effort to convince the Supreme Court to accept a reactionary administration’s effort to redefine American citizenship and render countless children stateless.

Key Trump statements on escalation/deescalation of the Iran War are always tied to sudden massive trades booked by persons unknown who seem to know exactly what Trump will do

All of this is correct. And it explains why almost everything Trump is doing is for the clear benefit of Putin.

again I point out how strange it is that high-level diplomatic negotiations of war and peace are being conducted by freelancers Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, both of whom have egregious conflicts of interest, and not the actual secretary of state

a fun fact that I will never tire of is that the brits cooked up the idea of a “vote of no confidence“ specifically to ditch the govt that lost the war against the US colonies, which is why our constitutional tradition doesn’t benefit from their innovation

What's telling here, of course, is that Trump has always insisted Mueller CLEARED him

Trump's psychotic reaction here suggests: even TRUMP knows Mueller DID NOT clear him
