We were watching something and they launched to cover my eyes so I didn't get triggered by a scene faster than I even registered what was on screen.
So, while this trait leads to mild misunderstandings, it's generally something I appreciate.
It's never been an issue, I always find it very funny.
Also, I think it's really endearing that they remember things I dislike better than I do sometimes.
Another example is that I get grossed out by fingernail related body horror stuff.
