Trump is a spectacularly bad President, but the US and Israel have been acting in contempt of international law for decades. Trump and Bibi were arrogant and stupid enough to push it too far. Iranian control of the Strait is a minor aspect of the catastrophe to come, all due to US/Israeli arrogance.

Another day, another ICE arrest in a nearby courthouse.
If you are in Massachusetts, please call your state senator this week and urge them to pass the PROTECT Act. One thing it will do is limit ICE's ability to operate in courthouses. LUCE has more information as well as email/call scripts.
The Dardanelles have been under treaty-based Turkish control since 1936.
The on-the-ground reality is that Iran controls the Strait and cannot be dislodged without regionally, or even globally, cataclysmic war.
It would be prudent to be realistic and conclude a treaty for each choke point.
Good. Now it's Cory Mills' turn.
Maybe. If she just recycles the same stuff Mills has been using it will seem like old news.
Collins also has oppo research on Mills. Serving as Governor inevitably requires decisions that offend constituencies. So far, Platner hasn't really exploited that stuff.
It's a gamble either way.
This is all very nice, but vulnerable victims need ironclad protections from the powerful monsters who prey upon them. They need robust whistleblower laws and a strong employee union on the Hill. Until then, 90% of the predators will continue to have impunity.
And yet, somehow, Roberts is only in third place in the SCOTUS corruption sweepstakes.
It's a great solution. In fact, we should have dozens of impeachments, starting with the 19 on the chart.
After the first few, we'll get the hang of it and the rest will go quickly.

It's complicated, but a successfully impeached President apparently would lose the pension, while a successfully impeached Justice would not. I hope Congress will remedy this before impeaching Thomas and Alito. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal...
And Thomas should be impeached for his corruption and failure to disclose corrupt emoluments.
Israeli soldiers with moral injury admit to unspeakable atrocities they committed in Gaza. They say it "reminded [them] of the Holocaust."

You falsely claimed that the ICJ indicated that Israel isn't committing genocide. Retract it.
You falsely claimed that the ICJ's slow process exonerated Israel. Retract it.
You falsely claimed that a lack of ICJ orders exonerated Israel. Retract it.
Retract your falsehoods or be seen to be a liar.
Here are just a couple of the many ICJ orders that Israel is violating:
"take all measures within its power to prevent and punish the direct and public incitement to commit genocide"
"take effective measures to prevent the destruction and ensure the preservation of evidence " regarding genocide
That's great that you started reading. Stick with it. So far you got through the first clause of the first order. Try reading the rest of Order 1, then try Order 2 and 3.
Hamas not a party to the ICJ. Israel signed the ICJ treaty and is violating its treaty obligation by disobeying orders
I'm glad we live in a country where we can hear him. Sometimes he is more accurate than official US spokespeople, and, even when he's not, it's important to know what the Iranians are thinking.
Some people think our increasingly authoritarian government is notorious. We did start the war, unprovoked
Lots of podcast guests have axes to grind, and many have connections to governments. Some do not clearly state these axes and connections. Marandi doesn't hide his close ties to the Iranian negotiators. Why the all-caps at the end of your post?
You really need to do more reading before commenting. The ICJ did, in fact, issue a number of directives ordering Israel to cease activities that appear to be genocidal. Israel has ignored those orders.
In 2024, the choice was Harris, who had participated in the sponsorship of genocide, and Trump, who was even more dangerously wedded to the Israeli extremists. There was no other plausible choice. I voted for Harris. We got Trump, and he joined Israel in a deranged war of aggression.
No, they would not. Do more reading about the ICJ process before commenting. theconversation.com/why-are-the-...
That is false. The ICJ has not ruled yet only because they have a long process that has not concluded. The ICJ has not made rulings indicating that they will rule that Israel is not committing genocide. In fact, they allowed the proceedings to proceed because they have not ruled it out.
My interest intensified when it became clear that Israel really was initiating a genocide. The suppression of anti-genocide protest, the Epstein-Mossad connection, and now the Israeli push for the Iran war have all increased my focus. I wouldn't say "skeleton key", but I understand why someone might
Israel's responsibility for pushing the US into the idiotic Iran war and Israel's sabotage of the ceasefire have made this a central issue. Your dismissal of this issue is either ill-informed or disingenuous.
Do you think it was accidental that she supported the right of the Israeli STATE to exist, but extended that right to the Palestinian PEOPLE instead?
They already had the button. Trump and Bibi motivated them to use it.
Redefining? I just quoted Merriam Webster. If you don't like their definition, then I guess you might like to redefine "bigotry" to mean something other than what the dictionary says.
Which remarks that he made do you think are actually bigoted? He has said a lot of things that are offensive, but bigotry, in Merriam Webster, is "stubborn and complete intolerance".
I don't see any sign of actual, current bigotry, although offensiveness persists.
Great. It's not too late to impeach these unrepentant sleazeballs.
