We missed you! But please don’t be sorry, there is definitely no obligation. I’m looking forward to hearing about your visit to the gem show though ☺️💎

Today in things that really did happen, I see the orange menace has just tweeted that Aberdeen should be booming 😂.

Yes indeed! I love Kew so much, and used to go there often when I lived in West London. Since I moved east I haven't gone in a few years, so dragged a friend (actually she was delighted, she is a botany queen) and went. We're going to get memberships so we can go back often, we have decided.

I sort of assumed they were all over LA, but I didn't know they had made it over to the UK yet. I hate everything about them.

I went to the botanic gardens today, and took about a million photos - it was life restoring! I'll share some here when I get a chance. Yours, as always, are beautiful 😍

Sometimes I wonder if working from home for so long has turned me into a goblin who cannot be trusted to interact with other people without making it weird. Then I remember that I have always been a goblin who cannot be trusted to interact with other people without making it weird.

A theatre programme for the play Copenhagen.

Also, as I’m prone to do when in desperate need for distraction from the world, I spent some time at the theatre. Love love love Richard Schiff, this is the 3rd time I’ve seen him in a show, across 2 continents. This was an excellent, timely production #MakeTheatreNotWar

I spent the day taking pictures of trees and flowers. My heart is so full. Look at these Himalayan poppy beauties! 💜🌷

I’m on a train and there is a lady nearby who is wearing a perfume that takes me right back to my favourite aunt who I haven’t seen in years. Isn’t smell a funny thing.

My favourite Samuel Beckett fact: Beckett used to drive André René Roussimoff aka Andre the Giant, who played Fezzick in The Princess Bride, to school, and they talked about cricket on the way.

It's actually good when people online refer to figures they don't like as "fat fucks" or insults about their body type rather than their character, because it lets me know they'd quietly think the same about me and those with a similar body to me if we ever met in person, which means we never will.
