Full disclosure, it’s a BAD MOVIE (plot, character, consistency) but I gave up on hoping for that after seeing the first.

A lot of what happens is inconsequential to furthering an actual story. Bullet points of what they wanted to show, without any effort to eloquently marry scenes/ideas together.

Everyone was worried you were taking jobs from humble laborers working the slime mines 🦠⛏️

Can now definitively say that the DLC is disappointing. Feels like a lot of misplaced effort went into things that the least amount of people would be able to enjoy or even find value in. I doubt many care to play the minigames, let alone decorate an amusement park that hosts the mini games 🥀

Had the Switch 1 version ‘completed’ so I didn’t feel right leaving the Switch 2 Edition without getting the new completion medals. This one where you collect random flowers and have to collect dozens for a single variant of an arch/fountain for EVERY arch/fountain is insane. Who would enjoy this.

Review of “Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park” written by Spenny Ecks: Strictly based on the asking price and the single-player content, this is tough to recommend. I think if multiplayer/singleplayer were split into $15 components, most could swallow that price, given how 'light' the offering is. But as is, you're paying a lot for about an hour of the base content (Koopa Kids) and then a couple more hours for the training missions. All quality work, but the low volume of work doesn't match the suggested monetary value. Oddly, the pacing isn't spread out by making the training levels mandatory in between the centerpiece Koopa Kid levels. I think most people will reach an 'end' in less than two hours and feel pretty cheated if they don't have a group ready to play multiplayer with. There also doesn't seem to be much reason why this content wouldn't run on the original Switch as well as the Switch 2. Just culminates in the perpetual notion that Nintendo is maximizing profits and minimizing satisfaction.

Not sure if this will be standard, but for this particular term, we were made to sculpt a Pokémon we voted on. Cubone has a nice mix of simple and defined shapes and we had freedom with deciding how forms would harmonize. Color wise, I attempted a Ken Sugimori painted look!

Relatively, a quick exercise to experience the more free flowing, sculpting nature of the software. Still need to better study the skull to nail down essential features (not to mention what little I did where the ears connect), but this was fun 💀
