hey Preorder my book i Dare You
LMAOOO pretty much what we're doing, you can put upto like 70 miis in there so we've been cross contaminating a bunch of our stories in the same jumble
i think its really cute you can have some be roommates and some be partners and some just friends its really flexible
put a whole bunch of your ocs in Situations-- yeah okay here i go LMFAO
but also the timing/humour is incredible--that voice modulator.......... holyyyy shit. LMFAO.
Ok..... Tomodachi life is hilarious wtf
For real. Actual creatives aren't using this shit, people who are obsessed with numbers and growth are the only ones that seem to be
People who create LIKE creating, why would we give that to a machine idgi
Yeah it's scrambling basically
AIs been around as a buzzword talking point for under 5 years.... Like there is logistically No Way everyone's using it. It's all bullshit. NOBODY I know would ever use it like???
I was also smart and bought us some fancy earplugs made for concerts so neither of us is dying from tinnitus rn
Yeah okay this was fucking Crazy. Des Rocs is a madman on that stage. I will now have no voice for Calgary Expo LOL
Des Rocs tonight ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐
Toddler in the seat behind me, just grggggrrr growling for like 15-20 minutes
Her dad: ....wh....why are you growling??
the cover for a graphic novel titled Fangs And All. It has the two main characters standing in a doorway, with the shadow of fangs around them. Text at the top reads: She wanted to meet the family... not get eaten by them.
Here's the full cover for my new graphic novel, Fangs and All! Sink your teeth into it October 6th >:)
ah alas no tadc in theatres for us... i was a bit too late on the trigger ๐ค๐
NO-- STOP. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
every corny scene: //weeping sobbing
every time rose is in the water: GIRL THE HYPOTHERMIA STOP
on my annual rewatch of Titanic on its anniversary, "Mister Cameron...... this water-chase scene is a little bit much it could have done with some editing--"
me, drawing 1 test page of my gn pitch and wheezing under 'do it scared' before i brush it off and go back to writing my horrible horrible prose story im also working on.
baby steps;;;
anyways i think everyone reading this should tell me what their favourite book(s) are because I love knowing and it gives me some reads that are usually out of my own personal choice (and sometimes even wind up being my favourite).
Imho this sounds like very important work ๐ค๐
OOoh!! Okay lots of things I haven't heard of before! Incheresting! (Aside from Project Hail Mary LOL i can't escape that one lately but everyone's saying things about it so maybe it's worth taking a peep~)
I've definitely done timed stuff too, usually when im sprinting with a buddy but we're doing back to back race-sprints which helps keep me from Overthink when im in the first draft esp
I totally understand it feeling like too much of a number's game. Sometimes I have to remind myself, that its not REALLY about the number in the end, its about how the story flows/works/feels
I didn't realise till I was in my 20s that there was an actual wc difference between novel & novella haha;;
TBH i hadn't read either of these so, noted! I know Donna Tartt was pretty popular for the Goldfinch but never got around to that one either so I'll definitely check out the Secret History
wTF.
OUGH! Enjoy! I saw it recommended a couple time before a friend told me firsthand how they were enjoying it and I wholly did not regret it!
NGL-- I think its totally fascinating looking back and reading through books that were still grappling with things in their era--
I've been struggling on where I want to actually start with Le Guin sooo //rubs my hands together hehehe
Between Two Fires was already on my list so duly noted ๐ค
some days im like, 'lets just get this over with' and speed through 500 words and move on, other times i hit a groove trying to hit my wc and just keep on sailing past that goal
for me wc goal works better than a timer..... mostly because i WILL dick around if I set a timer vs if im like, 'if i can get 500-1000 words done..... then i can go do literally anything else--' means im in control of how fast/slow i get to work on it--
NGL-- yes but also those cutout styles (my brain keeps thinking abt the heated rivalry ones) but yeah the fantasy books with the curly swooshy script on a vague fantasy texture also stress me out--tbh i think its just ~trendy~ covers that worry me, i don't wanna blend IN i want to STAND OUT.
