And the problem is there's ALWAYS "something more you could have done", and it can eat you from the inside until you burn out trying to do "everything right". I'm trying not to let that happen to me at this very moment.
But yeah, keep pushing. It's worth it. Even if only 5 people ever pay attention.
I've put in a ridiculous amount of work trying to build a contact map as huge as I possibly could. The result:
178 album review requests: 14 (probably) positive responses.
110 press releases for the first single: 10 (probably) positive responses.
Not even mentioning views/streams. It's difficult.

Currently trying to DIY through the million issues that come up during the release of an album. I have burned HUNDREDS of hours trying to understand what needs to be done, and then do it. It would all fall apart instantly if not for the blind faith of "it will get better eventually".
