Need to do the research on this properly, but a lot of those names are from very specific parts of Scotland too- 2 of the 73 side (Hughes and Malone) were from within 5 miles of each other in North Lanarkshire and quite a few of the early greats (plus Bobby Kerr) were from the Dumbarton area.
