I can provide the diverse viewpoint of being a straight white man who lacks a PhD and is overly familiar with small details from random episodes of "The O.C."

Y-Not Radio is looking for a couple new voices to host on weekdays. You must be in the Philly area and able to commit to volunteering for a weekly timeslot in person at the Y-Not Bunker in West Philly. No radio experience is necessary. E-mail Josh (at) ynotradio (dot) net to apply.
The idea that any NBA player should stop themselves from surpassing 81 points in honor of Kobe Bryant is maybe the most legitimately insane sports take I've ever seen
A wop bob a loo bop, a wop bob a loo bop Call me tarantula Call me tarantula The god tarantula All hail tarantula
Playing the new Rob Zombie and he’s still definitely doing this stuff
I'm also open to being an ethicist on any Philly-related concern. I possess the ideal perspective as a five-year resident. I understand the City, but am not a parochial lifer who remembers the "Blizzard of 96" and has no perspective for anyone who has lived elsewhere.
I feel VERY strongly about this and believe this is an appropriate middle ground. Assuming schools are back open tomorrow, the cones/chairs should be back inside.
Announcing a new "Savesies" Standard for Philly: It is OK to reserve dug-out parking spots with cones/chairs as long as Philadelphia Public Schools are closed/virtual. The day that they are back in-person, life moves on. Street parking is now a public good. Saving parking spots is unethical.
I’m sure it’s good, but I believe I will be able to stop making it. I need to sleep, work, take care of my cats. Won’t be constantly in kitchen making batches of scallion shrimp and crispy rice.
My 8th grade Geometry teacher wanted to show us the "funniest movie he had seen in a while" after a hard test. That film was White Chicks. Unbelievable.
Count me in. Albeit, I only knew the radio edit version until the streaming era.
Yes, I was instantly looking for Wiseman titles to catch up with (I've only seen "Ex Libris") and tried to see what was on @freelibrary.bsky.social's Kanopy and none seem to be available. My understanding is that different libraries have different packages.
Definitive guy. Like a 6 year period where he was around the 75th best player in MLB.
Hmm. Interesting.
Why does Puerto Rico not compete as part of the US delegation? This extends to the WBC as well. It's not a separate country and this bothers me. Also may feed into BS exclusion narratives like the anti-Bad Bunny sentiment from this week.
Underground arts is fine for a rock club but not a comfortable space necessarily. I prefer Union Transfer but there are worse spaces than UA in town
In mourning. Please give me some space.
I feel like the excuse to not know this ended in 2017 with coverage around Hurricane Maria.
Just staggered by the complete moral void of not even *pretending* to wait for more information before pivoting to “the opponent of the state deserved it.” It is so insanely depraved. Soulless.
It's easy to mock, but having seen all of them, I actually have F1 at #6 on my Best Picture Rankings. Very good crowdpleaser with incredibly exciting racing scenes.
I think Zhao misses Director. A bit of snobbery/misogyny.
UK Office is significantly better but hard to admit that because Gervais is such a terrible person who has torched any goodwill he ever possessed.
You could say that performance stands tall even in the great ensemble.
I gently kid. Great movie.
Prefer them to the terrorist group.
Would Mastodon and/or Opeth be welcome?
You should be embarrassed to be a member of congress and issuing anything other than impeachment resolutions. You're in the model UN. They should give you legos and a propeller hat

The run that Rob Reiner went on between 1984 and 1992 is one of the most amazing hot streaks any director has ever had. Legendary stuff
