Second, a new paper by @matildabrindle.bsky.social and colleagues explores the evolution of kissing.
Kissing may date back 21.5 million years, appears across large apes, and potentially occurred among Neanderthals as well!

You are invited to participate in an online research study that will take approximately 15 minutes. This study is for individuals who are 18 years of age or older, currently single or in an open relationship, and actively using dating applications (i.e., within the last 3 months). The purpose of this research study is to identify examples of "red flags" (i.e., subtle warning signs of potentially harmful behavior) in online dating profiles and face-to-face dating contexts via a "red flag identification task." If you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete the red flag identification task, along with the following questionnaires: 1. Demographics information (e.g., age, assigned sex at birth, gender identity, race/ethnicity, religious identity, political orientation, education status, and employment status : 2. Dating Application Usage; 3. Sociosexual Orientation Survey.
