A brick entrance gate to a university campus, with people walking inside on a sunny autumn day. On the pavement in front of the gate, a message is written in large yellow chalk letters that reads, “Nick Fuentes is right about Israel.” Fallen leaves are scattered across the ground.
Spotted at Harvard today. Not great at all at how this nazi is being mainstreamed and normalized. This shit is absolutely not welcomed here. Used water from my water bottle to erase part of it.

A school photo of a gently smiling teenage girl. She has long brown hair and a black cardigan.
My dear friend’s niece, who in October developed sepsis when a Georgia hospital refused her a D&C after a miscarriage, will be taken off life support tomorrow.
I don’t know the names of the countless others who have suffered and will suffered because of anti-abortion laws.
But her name was Haley.

Opinion | Trump Is Hiding Something on Ukraine
When you don’t call things by their real name, there is usually a reason.
Tom Friedman on point here, though he understated the case. Either Trump is the worse negotiator in all the universes of truth and fiction, or he is beginning an alliance with Russia with a joint attempt to subjugate Ukraine (and then much else).

How My Trip to Quit Sugar Quickly Became a Journey Into Hell
For my whole life, I’ve been a hard-core sweets junkie. Could a spa help me quit in a week?
The @nytimes.com these days is mostly important and depressing, but this piece by @caity.bsky.social is just good writing. Ate it up like a big bag of gummies. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/25/m...

A week ago Rina Sutzkever, the daughter of Avrom Sutzkever, passed away. She was Sutzkever’s second child; the first was murdered in the Vilna Ghetto immediately after being born. Rina gave me permission to translate her father’s work and this poem, “Toys” is the first translation I ever completed.
