Literally this morning. This isn't some random transphobic account, it's a prominent figure in UK anti-trans politics, with 160k followers, routinely promoted and RTd by Rowling, "Sex Matters", etc. Just openly calling to completely ban being trans.

As things stand ATM the absence of it is speaking volumes.

And, as usual for anyone who once, even nominally, supported trans people and tries to reach out to the bigots, you just end up ensuring everyone hates you because they will *never* accept you.

But Stonewall will never be considered ’good’ in the eyes of the bigots. No matter how far they throw us under the bus. Regardless of intention these comments are going to destroy any lingering hope that Stonewall are going to fight for us. You can’t appease the unappeasable.
