What to grow this month?
Organised by the Scottish Food Coalition, Scotland’s National Food Debate will be held on Wed 8th April, 6.30 – 8.30pm in Augustine United Church in Edinburgh and also online. This is an important opportunity to make all political parties know that food is a critical issue for voters.
This webinar will be of interest if you're in public procurement, or are a producer looking to supply the public sector.

What to grow in January? This month we have recommendations from @Glasgow Seed Library. They recommend using open pollinated seeds, which you can get from companies such as Seeds of Scotland, Real Seeds, Tamar Organics or Vital Seeds.

The issues of food and climate are closely linked. Any climate plan should recognise the impact of the food system on climate, and what we can do to reduce emissions. We would encourage anyone interested to read the plan and add their views.

2 weeks ago we launched the 4th edition of the Glasgow Sustainable Food Directory with Slow Food Glasgow at a fully booked event hosted in Five March. It was amazing to see so many sustainable food venues, suppliers & public attending the event! You can see the new directory here lnkd.in/gx9xDBQE

Couple of weeks ago we said Farewell to our Good Food Movement Co-Ordinator Thalia Groucott. Before she left we visited 3 projects in Govan - 'Dig In' community shop selling a good variety of fruit & vegetables, 'Grub Hub' catering for the community and 'Moogety Garden' run by Urban Roots Roots.
