Using that trick of the layout also works outside of isometric sutff, but that's a lot more tbh

Another, less complicated tip is to go with Isometric art. It's fairly simple, you can grab the blueprints or layout of a room online, flatten that and warp it to fit a perspective, and---

Ok, it's mostly about easing you into drawing them, it's how it went for me anyways

The idea is that you start with character pieces first, adding little props to the corner of the piece--- say, you could make a small grassy platform and add flower to it, or maybe some stones here and there---

S a m e , drawing backgrounds is pain--- but I've got a few tips to try and make it easier if you wanna hear them
