Though all three Brontë sister's lives were impactful, they were tragically short. Only two years after the publication of her novel Villette, Charlotte passed away at the age of 38, in Yorkshire, England.

Bryan was a part of GFT from the very beginning, as a performer, and later served as a Board Member.

Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights gets a remake this year!
This classic story by the middle Brontë sister was published i 1847. Tragically, Emily died just a year later, leaving this her first, last, and only novel.
This summer, you can get a glimpse into Emily's life in Brontë: The World Without!
Last year, Friends of Guild Park sponsored the park’s new Heritage Toronto Plaque, that tells the story of how the iconic Greek Theatre came to be, including it's origins as the historic 1912 Bank of Toronto Building!

Last Tuesday was the showcase for our Youth Engagement Scarborough Digital Media Cohort!
Hosted at the Fox Theatre, our 20 youth participants presented works ranging from documentary, to animation, to short films. We're proud to support so much talent in Scarborough!
With immense gratitude for their incredible work, we announce that 2026 will be the final season under the leadership of Co-Artistic Directors, Helen Juvonen and Tyler J. Seguin.
