As I have somehow surpassed 7k followers on here I thought it might be nice to do a giveaway: All 7 of my books to one lovely winner. Just share and like to be in with a chance! 😁📚
Velaris for me today! ✨
Yes please! Love the series and have got my husband reading now (he’s only just finished book 1 - need him to hurry up so I can discuss!)
Looks serious
Cannot wait!
I loved the snow when we went to Iceland but then I didn’t have to get to work/school/shops etc and could just play in it, so I think that was the actual draw!
Snow is so pretty but slippy slushy pavements on the walk to school are not so much fun! Tilly’s cane getting stuck in the slush and gloves getting damp and chilly. Back home now though with dry socks on, enjoying the prettiness through the window with a warm coffee in hand!
Hi 👋, great to see you over here! I still have the other app for now but it’s become pretty horrible to use, while this one is still nice and lovely
I fully understand!
He’s on quite a few dramatised type ones as part of a cast, reads Whiteout by Ken Follett (not listened yet but on my list) and probably more! We listen to How to Train your Dragon audiobooks on long car journeys which may not class as adult fiction but are loved by the whole family!
Yay! Welcome!
All ok thank you. Still loving your book - Tilly currently wants to be an art teacher (although it was an astrophysicist a couple of weeks ago and a dentist before that so final decision probably a long way off!)
👋 moved over a few days ago. So much nicer here so far!
It’s maybe heading towards an X-cellent X-tinction or X-termination
So much better than the fascist place! Very friendly and no weird ads (so far 🤞)
How wonderful! Congratulations on all the followers. Off to browse your website and very glad I jumped over to BlueSky and found lots of joy!
To celebrate 2,000 BlueSky followers, I'm going to do a little giveaway.
Repost and follow and I'll pick one lucky person at random to win a 12-month Gift Subscription at Bert's Books worth OVER £100.
You have until noon on Sunday 17th November
Moved over from the other place. Not overly active on socials but nice to find a friendly place to hang out!
I work as a virtual assistant plus do some scientific writing and GCSE tuition, also a SEND governor. Read a lot, enjoy knitting and generally a bit of a geek when I have time!
Nigella Lawson’s books are brilliant. ‘How to be a Domestic Goddess’ was one of the first cookbooks I owned myself and I still love it
