Sometimes I get stuck worried if the meds even help, since they don't address feeling always tired. And then I have to go 2 days without meds because of pharmacy under-scheduling, and I can report, they are indeed doing a lot
One of the worst things about narcolepsy, is that none of the treatment makes me less tired. Instead it is solely stimulants to ensure I stay awake.

Losing Nex upended lives in and beyond Oklahoma. There's a profound grief in marking 1 year since Nex died with the conditions that killed Nex having only worsened. I'm grateful to @leximcmenamin.bsky.social for the care with which they told this story, and gave space for our community to reflect.
Is it useful for live coverage of committee meetings on this platform? Trying to feel out what a post-twitter strategy looks like in terms of where you look to stay updated and engaged.
And that folks making policy regardless of their party could use the reminder about the importance of non-gendered language in policy and their discussion around it (issue here was raised because the Dem author was talking about breast cancer screening only in terms of women).
But it's almost like by avoiding gendered language in legislation, we can limit unintended exclusion so everyone can access the resources they need.
Ope, and now the clarification to make sure everyone knows that it's not to support inclusion of trans folks.
In House Public Health where there's been a question from the Republican Chair who has authored at least 1 anti-trans bill this session, to make sure a breast cancer screening bill authored by a Dem is available to folks of all genders because everyone can be impacted.

We're in House General Government Committee this morning for the first targeted anti-2SLGBTQ+ bill of the session (yes, it's only day 2).

Now more than ever, I am asking you to mask in solidarity with all of us who need to mask for different reasons.
That plus the trooper who flanked me as the Senators walked across the rotunda to the house makes me feel...real safe (read, absolutely not at all safe).
As someone who masks for my health, having to expose myself to a large group of people during at the epicenter of the current flu outbreak, during the ongoing pandemic, is certainly a risk I would not opt into.
