When we lived near Jones Beach we used to see about 5 concerts each summer. So now you know why I love listening to your commentary. I believe we are similar in age and our musical tastes are in line as well. Thanks for responding. Up there with the Jonny Vatos Facebook birthday greetings 😎

Jane not seen Will and Harper, but have seen the majority of the bands that are played on First Wave. Last show we saw was Howard Jones, ABC, Haircut 100 at the Paramount in Huntington NY. Missed the DD Halloween show. Last year we saw DM at MSG, and I took my daughter to see Madonna there too.

I meant the Darker Waves music festival in Huntington Beach (I guess it was about 14 months ago now), 5 min from where I grew up. That's where I discovered KROQ in the early 80s, Richard Blade, @SluggoDoug, and ultimately made my way to First Wave. Married a Long Island girl so stuck out here now.

I have you to thank for me getting to Dark Waves last year. So worth the cross county trip.
