We are regularly lied to about Iran’s nuclear capabilities. The fact is, Obama made an agreement (JCPOA) with which Iran was in compliance. It wasn’t until a year after Trump pulled the US out of the agreement and reimposed sanctions that Iran resumed enrichment.
This whole mess is 100% on Trump.
