And it was there, in the stillness of the night, that I was full.

Hunger nawed at the cavern in my stomach, not for food, but something more.
I crept up the stairs, anticipation thrummed in my body.
You were there, sprawled out
on the mattress, limbs tangled with the blankets. Your snores cut through the silence.

I scrambled for the keys,
fingers shaking. When the door
finally opened, I tripped inside.
The house was cloaked in darkness,
it spilled over to every square inch.
Silence clung to the walls.
But the warmth.
The warmth is what greeted me, a welcome
reprieve from the biting cold.

Tiktok is getting lost in the conspiracy theories of what happened in the 16 hours it was down.

The unknown is scary but conspiracy theories aren’t helping.
