also the scrolling thing, wether that’s an issue or not, that really depends on the person, some people like doomscrolling and some people don’t, but the fact of the matter is nothing goes viral on here truely, because some people never even see it

never reached 100k likes, because there is simply not a good enough algorithm, i personally think there’s more that got into an algorithm too, for it to really cater to you, like communities and topics, etc

you either have to be connected to popular people on bluesky or already be popular somewhere, the result ends up being, people here mass following and spamming trying to get traction their page, like you never see a post on bluesky get more then 30k likes for a reason, even the official account

the reason why i think bluesky needs a better algorithm is because, i think people genuinely want to grow organically on here and make this their home, but i noticed you can’t get on the discover page if you don’t already have a fan base of some sort from other platforms 🧵:
