We are currently outside the ICE Broadview concentration camp where Sunny Naqvi’s family believes her to be held after being detained in O’Hare by federal authorities.

In the last year, protests have given me hope. I have met so many great people, and seen that people in my city are amazing and tough, and that together we will get through this.

I thought the #youtube outage was going to ruin my Tuesday night plans, but if you type something into the search bar, it still works. My Tuesday night plans make me sad. 😆

There is no way Senate Dems should vote for DHS funding while Republicans are threatening to nationalize elections and Trump is threatening to do it by executive order. ICE reforms are no longer enough. Their authoritarianism must be fought with every legislative lever available.

The New York Times just launched a new "newsletter about the law and the courts." They are calling it "The Docket."

The Times may not care that Democracy Docket has been publishing "On the Docket" and "Daily Docket" for years, but I believe our 400,000 subscribers might.

A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.

Note for Democratic politicians: you don't have to start your condemnations of ICE raids with "We all want to catch violent criminals, but..." Just say "These raids have nothing to do with catching criminals and everything to do with terrorizing innocent minority groups."

Remember all the people who were complicit with Trump and MAGA's agenda.

All of them will try to rehabilitate themselves and jump ship before it sinks.
