We were so saddened to hear about the passing of our dear friend Patrick Campbell-Lyons who was a brilliant composer and musician of a legendary British psychedelic pop rock band "Nirvana" from the 1960s. Last time we contacted Patrick was back in November 2025. He somehow sounded unwell and was with his family in Salzburg Austria. To look back, he was probably in the hospital…but even though he was in that situation, he kindly listened to our latest single and encouraged us to go on…what a lovely person he was! We still remember when we participated in the special vinyl only Nirvana (UK) tribute project "Yesterday's Sunshine Today" - New Magical Covers of Nirvana (1967-1969) released from Timemachine Productions in 2020 (The CD version is now available from Think Like A Key Music). We recorded a previously unreleased song ‘Flowers For Friday’ on Patrick’s strong suggestion and we both were very happy with the result! As we know Patrick was a spiritual person and was into Tibetan Buddhism and other spiritual stuff, we miss him a lot but will meet him again…definitely! We pray for him to go through ‘Bardo’ safely and will hopefully reach wherever he wishes…So long, Patrick!!

John here. As I’m recovering well, we went out together today. We visited our local tailor for altering some jackets and trousers…and spent little time outside in Shibuya on the way back...

Now John feels much better, so this small studio flat doesn’t have to be a bedroom all day! He could even take a photo of me with my works…maybe ‘Bee Pollen’ works…!?
