On February 2, 1959, Buddy Holly performed his last show. At 1:00 a.m. the next morning, his plane tragically crashed near Clear Lake, Iowa. The last known photo shows him with Waylon Jennings, 1.5 hours before the crash.

His final song: Chuck Berry's "Brown Eyed Handsome Man."
