UPDATING THE BAGS
this is was compiled over the course of a few years. it's a lot to keep track of. things have expiration dates and batteries fizzle out over time. so i have a spreadsheet of all the stuff so i know when to update things.
and that's it, for now at least.

we have a bag of lanterns labeled w/ when the batteries were last changed taped on it.
this all fits in the car along w/ 4 people & a cat. and can be taken out of the house in one trip.
+ a list of personal items to grab that can't live with the supplies (like mobility aids)

cat carrying backpack, harness & lead, copy of vax & adoption records, treats, toys, catnip, food, extra chip card, printed photo of her, collapsible water dish, & litter.
this all lives in a cardboard box that would act as her litter box during an evacuation.

these bags live in our bedrooms and have a change of clothes + extra socks & underwear, our daily meds, important phone numbers, directions, keys, mementos, copies of important docs, a pen & notebook, 2-way NOAA radio w/ frequency to use.
