It's the kind of game you ruin by looking up guides.

What if Elena Fhancloud, the furry design, was rendered in 4K HD? You'd have to still wonder, because this is drawn poorly by hand lol. It's a white fox with pink hair and a cool collar. She comes complete with cheek marks and cool eyebrows.

It is. I feel the most sorry for new developers in school right now, the ones who chose to get a degree in it. The shortsightedness of the business world has been to cut many entry level jobs. They seem to think experts will magically appear without experience in the future.

And I'm sure the savings wont be passed on to the consumer, just to them. People will celebrate a drop in quality, a loss of tone for characters, and not even save a penny for it. Just pennies for Square Enix.

That's a shame. I just use the PC version and the only time it's clunky for me is when using certain animation features.
Try Krita. Last I saw, they had an android version too. It's FOSS. No subscription bs or toxic modern business practices.

Hopefully. AAA keeps firing their developers, even storied veterans. In the last two years about 33% of developers got their walking papers. From what I read, they either leave the field or go indie.
There wont be a shortage of talent in indie, but there will be a lot of titles to compete against.
I had a release, but Bluesky's services are beyond moody today. Releasing it today is just not wise. Hopefully they fix this by tomorrow so I can post it then.
If done manually, but remember Anthropic was dragged heavily through the mud for refusing to allow their AI to participate in domestic surveillance and autonomous weapons of war.
The overreaction to them wasn't a mistake. The government wants AI to do all the sifting despite how unreliable it is.
100% Enforcement isn't the goal though. The goal here is data harvesting, domestic surveillance, & ensuring there is enough data for us to be modeled in AIs so our behavior can be predicted.
Politicians are racing towards an AI panopticon. They get control, companies get money for selling the data.
I've gamed all my life, but as time goes on I question it. Between anti-consumerism from studios (binding arbitration, DLC milling, etc), gen AI garbage, lowering standards of consumers, & more it makes me question what future the hobby has. Indies are all that's left & not all are moral. It's sad.
