Hey #screensaturday I'm trying to code my way trough making a gameplay trailer. It's not quite there yet. Maybe I would need another form of transition between the phases, maybe they are too quick or too slow ?
But zoom and player tracking is quite useful.

I'm gonna make them bigger at around 90% charge.
1. particles from the killed enemy fall
2. you get near enough to activate them and they chase you
3. you ideally lead them to a XP zone
4. you collect
Yes absorbing the XP is actually a big part of the gameplay.
It's best to plan around that so that you will collect it on the double XP zone. But that means diverting from other zones that give you damage boost.

Thanks! It gradually becomes more angry until it explodes on the enemies. The explosion happens near the end. Maybe I should make the increase more apparent

Working on a new mechanic. How does this effect look ? I mean the stary thing that orbits the player and get progressively more angry until it attacks nearby enemies.
I like it but I feel that it could be more.

A hidden option to get a random bonus when leveling up became my favorite way to play.
So that's now an option :) And with the player having a voice, that's totally playable.
