A more traditionally noir coded Athena Sideris from Neon Heat, looking beat up and like she had coffee grounds and cigarette butts for breakfast
I need to draw more scrappy Athena, it's like 90% of what she is anyhow

Cardinal Gray’s Niners and Nico looking lovingly at each other
@cardinalgray.bsky.social I’m thinking about these boys so much 🙏🙏🙏
I enjoy posting my work. I enjoy reposting others work. My space is not just a gallery, there is a media tab if you'd like to scroll for just my stuff.
This is a social media site and I like to be social on it. Engage with others, so others can find other Artists to enjoy too.
That's fun to me.
The Animation Industry is in such bad shape, you guys. The amount of raw talent and power it is losing because it's not providing a sustainable living is a tragedy that future generations will study with grief.
If you're supporting artists right now: thank you.

A stray orange cat in Thailand moved into a bar. The owners got him a QR code so that customers can buy him food and cat treats.
The very first Athena, with a stronger jaw and horizontal scars.
The most recent Athena in a detective costume, jaw is less strong and eyes are more worried.
I can't believe she's been living in my brain for 9 years, holy shit

This painting, titled "L'escalier" (The Staircase), was created by French painter Marc Chalmé, known for his mastery of shadow and light, often compared to Vermeer. His work captures "still light" in landscapes, still lifes, and scenes like this.

Comic. I’m at my desk, leaning over to the doorway, saying “Hey! Foghorn! Foghorn Leghorn! Get in here!” Foghorn Leghorn is walking past the doorway, “Boy, I tell ya, I tell ya, not so loud, boy. What, I say, I say, what d’ya want?” Next panel, I’m gesturing to my computer. “How do I find that really good manga you recommended? It’s an anime now? I keep getting Halloween costumes.” Foghorn leans over my chair, “well, boy, I say, I say, you ain’t typin the entire title.” Last panel, I turn around- “you said ‘witch hat.’ Foghorn gets in my face- “open your ears, boy!! ‘Witch Hat Atelier, I tell ya! I tell ya ‘Atelier,’ I tell ya’”

post the best picture you have ever taken of your pet (if you feel like it):
Fiddletails are faeries born to human mothers, they are 'conceived' when the mother eats a special mushroom from a faerie ring. There is no biological father. Their nickname derives from the fern-like shape of the end of their tail, which can resemble a fiddlehead when balled. The fronds on their back are soft enough to lay flat or can be trimmed. It doesn't hurt. The tail is fleshy. A fiddletail will find it easy to cross between the waking world and other worlds from a young age. If they're intuitive (or lucky) they'll lean to hide from threats quick, but not everything is dangerous. Many will find themselves in a takes-a-village raising situation with a network of faerie aunts, uncles and cousins. In modern times it's uncommon for fiddletails to run into each other, and most will never get a clear answer about what they are. They prefer bare feet or faerie made shoes. They start shapeshifting around young adulthood. Colors and markings vary, but the base shape stays the same across all members of the species. Jacky no longer shapeshifts but her alt form wa sa bit of a tank compared to her. Not shifting started as a choice (trauma), but she's mostly lost the ability. Jacky's alt form is about the size of a big cat, but she's learned to survive without it.
Finally expanding on what Jacky is a little.
I've been back and forth for years on whether or not I want her to still be a shapeshifter, but it seems too sentimental to do away with it now. Let it stay.
