Every once and a while, someone designs a rare or legendary with very little text that still retains a lot of excitement. IG-88 is one such unit: he has a crazy amount of power, and with Shielded he's usually pretty safe, which lets him be an exciting rare despite being very simple #FFGStaff
During development, there were a lot of cards that let you use Credit tokens in alternative ways. All of these cards once said "defeat a Credit token" to get their effects. Eventually we found that we needed more synergy with other sets, so we changed the cards to let you pay a resource #FFGStaff

The problem is lots of systems are defended from abuse by "surely nobody would take the time and effort to abuse this system for a comparatively tiny reward", but AI (and especially current cut-price AI) is blowing all those calculations out of the water.

Almost every set has a common typal leader that players can draft a deck around, and in this set the trait was Bounty Hunter. So naturally we picked someone who leads a bounty hunter team on a heist! The fact that it let us showcase young Boba Fett was especially fun #FFGStaff
John has a reputation for playing control decks, so of course it makes sense that he'd design a control-oriented leader. Unlike Iden (SOR) who I designed, Aurra is more focused on removal than healing, but I love the puzzle of trying to line up her ability to make the perfect shot #FFGStaff
I love that Marathon is a never-give-up kind of game. Last night saw a team of high-lvl players kill both my teammates at the start, so I had to sneak around VERY carefully for 4 minutes until it was safe to revive them. We finished our quests & got out with profits despite almost getting wiped 🤘
