Yep, then Cherry Red blamed RSD for not updating the website. There were two versions of Being Boiled, the 1978 mono original and the 1980 pseudo-stereo remix. The RSD 12" gathers both, plus the b-side, for 150 times what I paid for the Irish 7".

It did come out years ago on 12" in (I think) Germany. I've seen copies for about 15 quid.

I didn't get the expensive Human League 12", but I did pick up this 7" from the bargain crates outside. 20 of your new pence, guv.

Q: "How many people work there?"
A: "About half of them."

I am now officially a TWaT, as in, I no longer work Mondays and Fridays.
I started at the end of March, but I had two weeks off for Easter, so this week is the real start.
I spent all day Friday and yesterday gardening, so I've come to work for a paid rest.
Early retirement beckons, I hope.

Turned up at 2pm, got Talking Heads demos but not the sole copy of the Colourfield which went early to some nutter who camped out all night. As usual, I spent more on (lots of) bargin-bin goodies.

I've been stoopid busy since last summer but recently went Part-Time, so can now threaten more regular CSC guest shows. After I've repainted the kitchen, steam cleaned the carpets, and whatever else the Lady of the House puts on my To Do list...

Oh dear. I've sponsored his podcast for years, there hasn't been one for a good while, and the last email update didn't suggest good news. RIP.

Yep, I have The Shirley Bassey Collection, a twofer which pairs This Is My Life and Does Anybody Miss Me. I must give it a spin. As if to prove my point above, one of the chazza CDs is an album I already own, with a different cover. Ah well...

Yep, but mostly the same tracks many times over. I can't be bothered spending time reading Discogs tracklistings on my phone (plus I'd need my readers with me). So I end up donating most of them to my local chazza. I did manage to avoid buying two CDs I have on vinyl (with different cover art).

Everything a quid from the Shambles (covered market) in Devizes, except a minty The High (features Box Set Go) a fiver from An Actual Record Shop.

7" singles are the theme from Van der Valk and I Can See Clearly Now.

Chazza roundup from last week's campervan test in Somerset. Wells and Devizes both scored. Wells cathedral apparently costs £8,000 per day in maintenance, of which the council must spend 8p on their public toilets - absolutely, shockingly, vile. The cathedral cafe toilets are first-rate though.

I too have enough copies of the LP and kind of wish they had done the single as a RSD 10” like the others (which were pretty excellent)

It’s the Same Old Song by the Four Tops. They even admit it!

And, of course, trivia fans: the writer of one Feargal Sharkey song was the subject of the other. Why do I remember this rubbish?

At 10p, I could hardly complain! Actually closer to 9p, as I bought over 100 and paid with a tenner. It still sounds fab, 60 years on.

I once stood next to Siân Lloyd at a Maria McKee gig in Dingwalls (we'd met previously at a Met Office party - Mrs F's pal worked there). She'd just come from C4 with full studio slap on - so much spray in her hair that it looked like it was supplied by Lego.

Will Lembit Öpik buy a copy, I wonder? Or was that the Cheeky Girls?

No blue borders, but still a bargain at 10p. Some/most of the other 10p purchases are not this cool - includes Joe Dolce because Mrs F, being raised in France, had never heard it. The vinyl warehouse 'experience' was still horrid.

Picked up my readers, and had 55 mins left on the parking.
Camden Palace LP (features Shirley Ellis' Clapping Song) £5, Vangelis £2 in BHF, everything else 50p. Plain sleeve 7" is Echo Beach.
R Williams because we've been learning the Mayfair Quickstep to 'Things', his duet with Jane Horrocks.

I bought it on 7" for 10p yesterday. Can't remember if it has a blue border though.
