SCAM / BURGLARY ALERT - a few neighbours on Liberia and Calabria Roads have found these barely visible transparent stickers on their doors/letterboxes. This is a known scam - houses which still have the stickers visible after a few days are targeted for burglary. CHECK your door and remove it.

Yes - Church Path will occasionally be closed to pedestrians and cyclists while vehicles are entering
or leaving the worksite. No more 1 movement a day, and only between 9:30am and 3:30pm.
Work starts today to remove the dilapidated buildings marked on the map - the bandstand, the Oasis cafe and the derelict park keeper’s bungalow.

According to helpful National Power Networks website, the reason for this unplanned power cut is: “An underground electricity cable has faulted on our high voltage network, causing an area wide power cut”. Power restoration currently expected by 9am.

UPDATE, 7:05am: some homes reconnected by diverting power over undamaged parts of the network, leaving 709 homes without electricity. UK Power Networks are exploring other diversions to reconnect more properties. @ukpowernetworkscontactcentre
