I saved this to listen at an appropriate moment, and was duly delighted. Sadly you didn't mention Rumer Godden's In This House of Brede among your 'female communities' books - not on a par with TCTHT, and a 1960s setting, but a similar exploration of the relationships between enclosed nuns
