Making my annual playlist from student's suggestions (a whole other fun-sad story) to show Ancient Greek gov by playing Who Decides The Music. While on yotube, this gem came back up. I can never resist replaying it when suggested. Thanks @worriers.bsky.social & everyone else involved. #evh #prince

SEATTLE! Tonight is the night! We’re at Black Lodge with Tiny Stills and Ricky. ALL AGES. Doors at 7, first band at 8. 🎉
One of my favorite bands of the past decade, Worriers, played their final LA show last night. Fantastic as always, sounding intimately anthemic. Sad that they’re wrapping up, but thank you to @worriers.bsky.social for the great music and wishing them the best on their next creative pursuits.
I’m so glad you can be there! 🙌
Tour starts a week from Saturday and I am officially going to start being annoying about it. Five shows then that’s it. Last chance. We’re playing some old ones. It’s gonna be fun.
Bandcamp day is tomorrow where you can still grab a postcard and extra demo tracks when you buy a physical copy Imaginary Life. Worriers.bandcamp.com
look - there are SO MANY good videos here: ejrc.bandcamp.com/video

The other four are demos of our first four songs, including “All I Ever Wanted”, the original title for “Jinx”, that were recorded in Brooklyn with the original 3-piece lineup of the band - myself, Justin Sullivan, and Mike Catalano.
To commemorate this wild anniversary, we’re including 5 demos with purchase of the album and an edition of 100 signed and numbered postcards with physical copies. I found one of Chasing that we recorded in Michigan late at night on a cassette deck that for some reason also includes a xylophone.
Years later I am still so proud of these songs, of their message, and what they’ve meant to other people. I’m eternally grateful for the connections I’ve formed with friends and fans over the lyrics. It feels like a completely separate lifetime, but I love what we made and want to celebrate it.
10 years ago, Worriers released our first album “Imaginary Life”. We drove out to Rancho Recordo in Michigan (to this day my favorite studio) & with the help of engineer Marc Jacob Hudson & producer Laura Jane Grace, we recorded 12 songs. It’s both personal & political, punk but also pop.

Two weeks in Portland and surprising no one I don’t want to leave 😅 somebody help.
About to roll up to the Portland Lucy Dacus gig alone as a masc enby lesbian. Will I survive?
All of this and more on the next episode of What Even Is My Life Anymore?
Can you tell many bands are exhausted posting reminders like these? I feel wild about it. This record is on an independent label that I personally really believe in and love and they ALSO deserve your support. It’s really why I keep reminding yall to buy the record. @ejrc.bsky.social forever.
Happy Bandcamp Friday! There are some cool colors of things left!

I think about watching Hurray for the Riff Raff play solo while standing on a picnic bench in the back of a bar in Brooklyn a lot more than I could’ve anticipated.

I hated this racist shit the first time I saw it during the Gulf War and it just keeps getting worse. This isn’t a fucking video game
I forgot to mention that I shared my full Notion tour management system with my bandmates on the last tour and they loved it and asked me 1000% less questions while on the road. It ruled. If you’re a TM or acting as one for your band, check this out.

Could one of my friends ask Mae Martin for their arm workout routine? I need it for the revolution.

THANK YOU to everyone who turned up this week, who said kind things to me at merch and who sang along. We had such a great time and that’s all I wanted from these shows. Thank you for sharing them with me. 💜💜💜
