Anyone who wants goals like that disallowed for anything other than partisan reasons just doesn't like football very much, sorry. Thanks very much to the Varman this time but he can fuck right off.

Yes, I'm saying what the rules *should be* and, in fact, did use to be. As I said, the current application of VAR to offside is idiotic and that would not have been considered off by *anyone* pre-VAR.
What conversation did you think we were having??
Listen to yourself, man. No one was giving upper arms offside either. The sleeve line is how they judge it now. It's bollocks.
if they had, they'd have been pilloried by the fans & pundits for having called it wrong as soon as everyone saw the freeze frame. Absolutely no-one was giving sleeves offside pre-VAR.
manifesting an ability to get over the line?
Nah, the offside was not clear in the slightest. Evanilson timed his run perfectly but, fortunately for us, the application of VAR to offside is idiotic.
This was pretty similar to the disallowed Bamford goal away at Palace, just slightly tighter.
I think "obstructing the keeper's line-of-sight" is a pretty dubious extension of "interfering with play" anyway. It's all part of offside concept creep.
Would Petrovic have stopped that if Piroe hadn't been there? Unlikely. Doesn't meet the threshold to disallow.
We do 96th minute 2-2 sucker punches too #lufc
I mean, Bournemouth have been absolutely fucked by var there tbf. Against anyone else, I'd consider disallowing that Evanilson goal a crime against football.
Lovely stuff. #lufc
wanted to beat the traffic?
Daniel ๐
Someone has to clip that up, surely #lufc
yeah I really thought we'd see one or two rotations, like Nmecha
If they've stopped playing for him.... ๐ค๐ป
It *might* have been a riff ๐
Lots of people seemingly v invested in this Leicester game, can't say I get it??
Sure, it's a huge, *huge* game.... for them.
For me, it's one more game.
#lufc
While still not safe in the league?? The real Tommy would be insisting on marching Jonny Howson & co into the gunfire lest we run the risk of, god forbid, having to play *another* game should we win.
Tommy "not the result I wanted" D? No chance. You can't fool me that easily! Hand the password back
Wanting to win cup games?!? Who are you and what have you done with Tommy??
It's not, no, I just mean that's where it all started as far as I can remember. The reporting at the time seemed to *imply* that he was being a bit stroppy by not 'waiting his turn' I think.
Didn't it all start when he wanted to go to Hamburg under Bielsa?
I'm still bitter about Willem Korsten, never mind Lennon & Rose.
Ampadu & co did ask to go around again.......
I'd imagine he belatedly realised it must have been Brendan who'd felled him and needed to exaggerate it to salvage some pride...
Kemar Roofe apparently
speaking truth to dour
This isn't what "doing a Leeds" is though! This is more like the "Leeds, that" mentality (an absolutely witless sentiment, fwiw, and one I'd happily dish out life bans for to anyone caught uttering it even half sincerely within 100 miles of Elland Road)
You're completely right. And no club should go through 4 managers in a season and stay up. But, from a selfish point of view, Spurs *could* sort themselves out next season, whereas Marinakis will still be a crackpot. So I think I'd prefer to keep Forest up if we also survive....
The goals did, in fact, come :D
Meh, probably play a second-string side anyway.

Steady on, Archie lad
